Two New Ways to CREATE!

I’m so happy to re-introduce Homeschool Art Class in the Studio this Fall! Your kids ages 6-11 are quite welcome to come learn and create face-to-face if you happen to be a local resident (near 30-A, Florida).

What an honor! To see past Homeschool Art Class inspiration, check out the story tab called “Homeschool” on ye old Instagram.

And if you’re not local, but still homeschool, be sure to check out my monthly subscription: Art School with Liza. It’s an epic art curriculum for homeschoolers OR kids that would love to create over school breaks, on the weekends, or after school. It contains over 100 fantastic lessons on art history, famous artists, and art fundamentals. Most of the artists that are included in the CC curriculum are covered, and there’s even a little “search bar” inside your library of lessons. You can search “Picasso” and a Picasso lesson will pop up. It’s magical!

In other news, here’s ONE MORE WAY you can create! I LOVED creating these fun sculptures with kids in the studio during Summer Art Camp this year. Many of you shouted out: “Hey, we wanna learn, too!” So… here ya’ go. It’s a fun process, and I think once you get the hang of a new art medium like plaster strips, you kind of fall in love. You can create ANYTHING with a bit of practice.

Like the other stand alone online workshops, this workshop will include easy step-by-step videos (pre-recorded so you can pause, stop and start again anytime), a printable PDF with instructions, pep talks, and a printable supply list with links inside.

Hope you’re ready to get messy and create your own Plaster Quirky Bird! Details on the button.

Art School with Liza: Doors are OPEN

We’re welcoming new artists into Art School with Liza! I’d be honored to have your family of artists inside this membership.

If you know of a creative kid aged 6-11 who would love an EPIC art curriculum, check out this monthly membership. A library of over 100 Art Lessons, Adventures, Artist Interviews, and MORE await inside Art School. Pre-recorded lessons allow your artists to create anytime. Art School also makes a great gift.

How to Make a Tiny Art Book: Video

How to Make a Tiny Art Book out of Paper DIY Art Book

I had the chance to visit Mrs. Rhea’s awesome ART Club at Emerald Coast Middle School today! It was a joy seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Mrs. Rhea is a local celebrity and she is so great at inspiring and teaching her middle school artists. She rocks.

Kids, if you’d like a review on how to create a tiny ART BOOK, check out the youtube video button below. Once you’ve got the hang of it, I know you’ll want to create more and more tiny books.

This was also a fun little lesson inside our last Women’s Zoom Art Night from this past fall. If you’d like to join the next Women’s Zoom Art Night, scroll down on the blog and hit the sign up button to receive information and details once the date is set.

Women's Art Night

Busy, busy, busy. Women - especially Mamas.

I needed a moment to self-care. I’ve been missing my women in the studio!

“Self-care is NOT Selfish.”

Thanks to all who joined our Zoom Women’s Art Night December 27th. We got together, connected, and created. I had an absolute BLAST with y’all. And left our meeting INSPIRED.
